Welcome! What's a Quaker? We seek to live simply and work toward peace and equality for all. Some of us have been Quakers all our lives; others have been involved for just a few years. We come from various faith traditions, including non-theist. We are all figuring it out together. We meet every Sunday morning at 298 Frederick Street in Kitchener, and starting in January 2009, we're coming to Laurier campus. What do Quakers do? Our spiritual practice is practical, radical, and relevant for the world today. It has origins in the early Christian seekers. We are open to continuing revelation in modern times. We believe that everyone has within them a spark of the Divine, an Inner Light, to which we become more attuned through silent worship and through service in daily life. Schedule We're hosting a monthly session at Laurier for seekers who want to learn more about Quakers. Meet us at Laurier in Macdonald House, 24-hour lounge, at 7pm, on: Thursday 22 January, 7pm...
